Why Teshuvah
My reason for choosing this name goes back to family legacy. Teshuvah means to return to God or repentance in Hebrew. The Hebrew language reminds me of my late father and his love for the bible and the desire he had while in seminary school to learn to read the Hebrew and the Greek so he could understand the bible in its original context. He never did become a pastor but when the opportunity presented itself, he would lead people to the Lord and remind them of the importance of repentance. Shortly before his passing he was gifted a necklace with the Hebrew symbol for life, the “chai” symbol which you will find subtly around my website in his honor.
Through biblical and transformational life coaching, my desire with Teshuvah is to lead women who feel like they have gotten off track back to the path that God has for them. Returning to God and learning their true identity will propel them into finding their purpose and passion that will lead to a transformed life. When women have a healthy perspective and purpose it not only affects them but the generations after.
I am a wife a mother of three adult children and a business owner. I have had three successful businesses over the last 20 years and last year the Lord called me into a new career path. Through a series of events, it has been confirmed to me that my calling and purpose is to help God’s daughters be set free from the invisible chains that keep them bound. After receiving advanced certification as a biblical and transformational life coach through Dream Mentors International I have discovered that I have a natural passion and desire to lead women into a life of freedom and purpose.
